Textured Art | Where the Fine Lines Turn

Proportions are an illustration. Confirm the listed width × height before ordering.

Fine vertical furrows meet broad horizontal passages in Where the Fine Lines Turn. Long curved seams divide the nearly white field, and diagonal marks at the upper right introduce a third direction.

The narrow palette makes these changes in line the subject of the picture. Across the panoramic width, dense grooves give way to finer, quieter areas, creating a measured flow with only slight shifts between cream and ivory.

About the Artist

Meet Evan Lin

Evan Lin works with stone gray, chalk white, and muted earth tones. He builds a surface in layers, then scrapes parts of it back so that earlier marks remain visible. An uneven edge or a rough patch often gives him the starting point for the rest of a painting. His compositions leave room around these details, allowing the texture and small shifts in color to carry the piece.
