Abstract Art | Pastel Drops Above Blue
32''x24''/81x61CM / Rolled Canvas
$400.00 USD
Pastel Drops Above Blue places scattered pink and yellow circles over a pale cream field. Below them, a broken band of dark marks separates the open upper space from a broad area of dusty blue.
Long narrow trails descend through both color fields, bringing the small marks into contact with the larger division. Dense dark interruptions near the sides frame a quieter center without resolving into a specific landscape.

About the Artist
A clear blue beside a dusty pink, or a warm orange cutting through gray, can set Nora Liang’s painting in motion. She works with broad brushes and overlapping color, keeping some passages loose while giving others a firmer edge. The colors are allowed to affect one another as the painting develops. She looks for a composition that feels lively at first glance and holds together across a larger wall.
