We understand that selecting artwork for your home is an intimate decision. To ensure complete peace of mind, we offer a transparent, fair, and straightforward return and refund policy.

1. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee (Change of Mind)

If your painting does not harmonize with your interior space, lighting, or design expectations, you are welcome to return it.

• You have 30 calendar days from the date your package is delivered to request a return.

• You will receive a full refund of the artwork's purchase price.

• For returns due to personal preference, the buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping carrier fees.

• We charge no restocking fees for standard catalog items.

2. Handcrafted Art & Quality Guarantee

Every painting at Laguna Oil Art is hand-painted on premium canvas by experienced artists.

• Artisanal Variations: Because each piece is created entirely by hand, subtle nuances in texture, color tone, and brushstrokes are normal and celebrate the uniqueness of authentic original art.

• Discrepancy Guarantee: If the delivered artwork materially deviates from the style or description presented on our website, please contact us immediately. We will issue a full refund or a free remake, subject to review.

3. Transit Damage & Defective Shipments

We ship all artworks in reinforced protective packaging. However, in the rare event of damage during transit:

1. Contact us within 48 to 72 hours of delivery at info@lagunaoilart.com.

2. Please include your order number along with clear photographs showing:

   • The damaged area of the painting.

   • The outer shipping carton and inner packing materials.

3. Once verified, we will arrange—at your preference—either:

   • A complimentary replacement/recreation prioritized at no extra cost, OR

   • A 100% full refund, including any initial shipping fees paid.

4. Custom & Commissioned Artworks

Custom orders include pieces tailored to specific custom dimensions, personalized color alterations, or bespoke subjects.

• Post-Delivery: Because customized paintings are made exclusively to individual specifications, they cannot be returned or refunded once delivered.

• Pre-Shipment Cancellation: You may cancel a custom commission at any time before it leaves our studio. However, a $100 non-refundable materials and preparation fee will be deducted from your refund to offset the artist's labor and canvas/pigment costs incurred.

5. Return Eligibility Criteria

To ensure your return is accepted and processed smoothly:

• The artwork must be in its original, undamaged condition, free from scratches, mounting marks, or exposure to environmental contaminants (such as smoke or direct water).

• The item must be returned in its original protective packaging (bubble wrap, corner protectors, and heavy-duty box). If the original box is damaged, please use an equivalent high-grade art shipping box.

• The return must be authorized by our support team with an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

6. How to Initiate a Return (Step-by-Step)

1. Submit a Request:
   Email info@lagunaoilart.com within 30 days of delivery. State your order number, reason for return, and include photos if the item is damaged or defective.

2. Receive Authorization & Return Address:
   Our customer support team will review your request within 24–48 business hours and provide you with an RMA number and the specific designated warehouse return address.
   (Please do not ship items back to our corporate registration address without authorization, as return processing cannot take place there.)

3. Ship the Artwork:
   Securely pack the artwork and hand it over to a tracked and insured shipping courier within 7 days of receiving your RMA. Provide us with the tracking number.

4. Inspection & Refund:
   Once the return arrives at our inspection facility, our quality team will examine the piece within 2–3 business days. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.) within 7 business days.
