Abstract Art | Under an Ochre Canopy
18''x18''/46x46CM / Rolled Canvas
$270.00 USD
Mustard yellow emerges between clustered olive, white and brown gestures in Under an Ochre Canopy. The marks crowd together like fragments caught in motion, with brief flashes of orange, lilac and blue adding unexpected color.
Pale strokes gather near the center and scatter toward the edges, opening small intervals in the darker mass. This square abstraction combines an earthy palette with a restless, organic rhythm that remains visible from across a room.

About the Artist
A clear blue beside a dusty pink, or a warm orange cutting through gray, can set Nora Liang’s painting in motion. She works with broad brushes and overlapping color, keeping some passages loose while giving others a firmer edge. The colors are allowed to affect one another as the painting develops. She looks for a composition that feels lively at first glance and holds together across a larger wall.
