Floral Art | A Scattering of Sunlit Petals
32''x24''/81x61CM / Rolled Canvas
$400.00 USD
A Scattering of Sunlit Petals fills a pale field with yellow blossoms at different stages of opening. Deep amber centers punctuate the lighter petals, while thin green stems draw quiet connections through the spaces between them.
Rather than forming a single bouquet, the flowers extend to every edge of the horizontal composition. Their curled, ridged appearance contrasts with the cooler gray-white background, giving the scene an airy rhythm and a distinctly sunny mood.

Garden shapes. An open, easy rhythm.

About the Artist
Iris Zhou likes the way flowers lean, overlap, and leave gaps between their stems. Her paintings keep that slightly unarranged feeling, using grouped brushstrokes for petals and broader patches for leaves. She works with soft pinks, whites, and varied greens, sometimes introducing a deeper color to give the arrangement weight. The result is an easy, open composition that brings the shapes of a garden into the home.
