Textured Canvas Art | Folds Descending

Proportions are an illustration. Confirm the listed width × height before ordering.

Folds Descending is hand-painted textured artwork on canvas. Broad bands run from the upper left toward the lower right. Closely spaced lines bend with each fold, while recessed channels deepen the sense of overlap.

An open corner gives the denser ridges room to unfold. The vertical composition draws its rhythm from the changing width of its bands and the small shadows between them.

Materials: Hand-painted artwork on canvas. No real ivory or animal-derived decorative materials are used. Choose rolled canvas, stretched canvas, or a framed option from the available variants.

Hand-painted variation: Each painting is made individually, so brushwork, texture and color appearance may vary from the reference images. Lighting and screen settings also affect how the artwork appears.

About the Artist

Meet Evan Lin

Evan Lin works with stone gray, chalk white, and muted earth tones. He builds a surface in layers, then scrapes parts of it back so that earlier marks remain visible. An uneven edge or a rough patch often gives him the starting point for the rest of a painting. His compositions leave room around these details, allowing the texture and small shifts in color to carry the piece.
