Textured Art | A Ridge Across Silence

Proportions are an illustration. Confirm the listed width × height before ordering.

A Ridge Across Silence stretches an uneven ivory formation across a long, pale field. The ridges gather toward the upper middle, leaving a noticeably smoother expanse below and to the right.

The broad format makes the unmarked space part of the composition. Small shadows along the irregular crests provide its variation, balancing a softly active upper edge with a calm lower field for a living room or bedroom.

About the Artist

Meet Evan Lin

Evan Lin works with stone gray, chalk white, and muted earth tones. He builds a surface in layers, then scrapes parts of it back so that earlier marks remain visible. An uneven edge or a rough patch often gives him the starting point for the rest of a painting. His compositions leave room around these details, allowing the texture and small shifts in color to carry the piece.
