Poolside Art | A Gesture Above the Water

Proportions are an illustration. Confirm the listed width × height before ordering.

A small figure lifts one arm while moving along a pale blue ledge in A Gesture Above the Water. A tall navy plane fills the left side, placing the person between a dark vertical edge and a lighter open wall.

Rippling water appears below at the right, changing the sharp geometry into softer marks. The figure remains deliberately small within the surrounding blue, making the gesture stand out through scale and placement rather than detail.

About the Artist

Meet Luca Bellori

Luca Bellori builds his poolside scenes around simple shapes: a rectangle of water, a pale terrace, and the long shadow of a chair. Clear blues and warm neutrals give the paintings a sunny, relaxed tone. Figures appear as small, easy gestures within the setting. He keeps the arrangement direct, with enough detail to suggest the afternoon and enough open space for the color to do its work.
