Size Guide

Explore how the artwork size relates to your furniture.

Abstract Art | Slate in Motion

Proportions are an illustration. Confirm the listed width × height before ordering.

Slate in Motion gathers broad curling marks into a dense square composition. White ribbons turn through slate gray and muted blue, while pockets of ochre, rust and pale cream interrupt the cooler field.

The eye moves between rounded sweeps and abrupt dark passages, with thin trailing lines crossing the larger forms. There is no single horizon or fixed subject: the interest lies in the changing direction, weight and overlap of each colored gesture.

About the Artist

Meet Nora Liang

A clear blue beside a dusty pink, or a warm orange cutting through gray, can set Nora Liang’s painting in motion. She works with broad brushes and overlapping color, keeping some passages loose while giving others a firmer edge. The colors are allowed to affect one another as the painting develops. She looks for a composition that feels lively at first glance and holds together across a larger wall.
