Sailboat Art | The Blueward Turn

Proportions are an illustration. Confirm the listed width × height before ordering.

The Blueward Turn catches a white sailboat leaning into lively turquoise water. Small figures gather around the deck beneath a tall sail, while a dark buoy punctuates the open water to the left.

Broken white clouds stretch across a saturated blue sky, echoing the bright wave crests below. The composition moves from the buoy toward the sail, creating a spirited sailing scene with the clear colors of an open summer day.

About the Artist

Meet Clara Vellin

Clara Vellin finds a natural structure in harbors: upright masts, low boats, and reflections that loosen their shapes in the water. She arranges these elements with a light touch, allowing the scene to stay open. Small accents of color can mark a hull or a distant building. Her brushwork becomes softer around the reflections, giving the water a gentle movement and the boats a clear place within it.
