Coastal Figurative Art | One Stroke Toward the Palms

Proportions are an illustration. Confirm the listed width × height before ordering.

One Stroke Toward the Palms places a lone swimmer in pale turquoise shallows. The figure stretches diagonally toward the far right, surrounded by short white ripples that interrupt the broad, luminous water.

A low green shore and two small palms sit beneath a clouded sky. The upright view leaves generous space around the swimmer, holding the movement within a calm coastal setting rather than emphasizing speed or competition.

About the Artist

Meet Luca Bellori

Luca Bellori builds his poolside scenes around simple shapes: a rectangle of water, a pale terrace, and the long shadow of a chair. Clear blues and warm neutrals give the paintings a sunny, relaxed tone. Figures appear as small, easy gestures within the setting. He keeps the arrangement direct, with enough detail to suggest the afternoon and enough open space for the color to do its work.
