Tennis Art | Long Shadows at the Net

Proportions are an illustration. Confirm the listed width × height before ordering.

A narrow lime court sits inside a deep green field, with a single white bar marking its center. Long Shadows at the Net reduces a match to two small players and the dark silhouettes stretching beside them.

Fine vertical marks reinforce the tall layout, while the white divider provides a sharp pause between the figures. The large surrounding green area makes their gestures feel unusually small, giving the familiar game a spare, almost diagrammatic character.

About the Artist

Meet Sofia Alden

Sofia Alden enjoys the clear shapes found in outdoor sport. A tennis court offers a ready arrangement of lines and color, while a golf course opens into curves, shadows, and long areas of green. She places small figures within these larger spaces, using their posture to suggest a moment of play. Her paintings have a bright, relaxed mood, with simple compositions that remain readable from a distance.
